Driving in Haiti Is A Challenge and An Experience

Congestion common, but the decorative "Tap Taps" (taxis) make it a novel first few days in Port-au-Prince.  One thing we noticed that was absent: Road-Rage!

The Haitian People Are Resourcesful

You don't see anyone loafing in Haiti.  Making a living is too demanding than that, and there is no public assistance program.  People either work or go hungry.
