‘Looking to the Future Survey’ Enclosed
What does the future hold for Maple Street? That’s one of the questions the Administrative Council hopes to begin to answer with help from a survey enclosed in this issue of The Maple Leaf. The questionnaire is inside an envelope, which is addressed to Maple Street.Frank Melick said everyone completing the survey is asked to either bring the form to the church, where a basket will be placed to deposit them, or mail them in the envelope. Several survey forms may be mailed in a single envelope from a family, he said.
This month’s newsletter mailing list is expanded. Every full member of Maple Street should receive a copy of this issue. Active adult constituents ( non-members who attend regularly) also are asked to participate. Responses will be confidential, with only compiled data shared with the people.
The survey, Melick said, is the start of a serious look at where the people of Maple Street Church want their church to be in the next two, five, 10, 20 or even 50 years. Additional information will be provided in the next issue.

July 2002
Thank You for all your prayers for my aunt Barbara Soaps and neighbor Jim Pickrel. - Ramona Frank Dear Maple Street Members, Thank you for the Moments with Majesty gift certificate for high school graduation. Also, thank you for the engraved clock and the inspirational book that I was presented with on my last day as choir accompanist. It has been a pleasure playing for the congregation the last few years. Thank you for all your support. - Emily Mendell Maple Street Congregation, Thank you for the cards, phone calls and prayers during my recovery. - Harold Mowery Dear Friends, Thank you for your gift to The Foundation. We are grateful for your support. In His Name, - Ed Clum Thank you to Brianna Phillips, she truly took the adoption of 8 year old Christopher Sorino of the Dominican Republic seriously. Before Easter she began working and saving, then on May 12 she brought her bank to Sunday School. What fun the 3-4 grade class had counting the $24.55. Pastor Don was so impressed with this, that his fund raiser at the Praise Service added another $19.00. Thanks to Brianna and friends almost 3 months of support was raised. Our pledge is $15.00 each month. Mrs. Parcels mission necklaces have been filling in the gaps.
