Welcome to Worship at Maple Street Church!

We worship the Lord in many ways at Maple Street, through helping the needy, teaching the young, supporting and training adults, caring for our members, and fellowship together. Our Sunday Worship Service is at 10:15 and is a blended service including both contemporary and traditional elements.

What can you expect if you come to our worship? Friendly people – some dressed up, some casual, some in jeans, some clapping, a few saying amen or lifting their hands in praise, and some not – but united in worship and prayer. A Children’s Word is a regular part of the service, and children may then return to their families or go to Second Hour activities. Of course, expect a sermon, usually from our pastor, who is also a speaker at Christian events, but sometimes by a guest or a member of our congregation. You might find our teens running the service. There will be songs to sing, which may be praise songs or traditional hymns, and you can see words on our video screen or use the hymnal or praise book. Also expect music from our adult choir, children’s Joyful Voices, bell choir, or other groups, bands, soloists, or instrumentalists. And of course, expect to hear Scripture reading!

Come early for a cup of coffee and some snacks before worship, in the room adjoining our Sanctuary. Or come at 9:00 for adult and children’s Sunday School classes.

We are a community of believers at Maple Street, and Sunday worship is our time to come together as a community and lift our prayers, our praise and our concern.
